Dairy Farmers of Ontario\u2019s dairy education program has been supporting Ontario schools since 1995. We are currently seeking self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join this elite team of educators. The ideal candidates will possess knowledge of the dairy industry and have experience leading children in a group setting.<\/p>\n

Dairy educators are responsible for the promotion, coordination, and implementation of the local dairy education program in a specified region. Program elements include live school presentations, and email correspondence to elementary level students on various dairy-related topics.<\/p>\n

The dairy education program offers a flexible work schedule and makes an ideal supplemental income opportunity.  It is anticipated the dairy educator will work 3-4 days per week during school hours from September to June. Professional development and community event opportunities exist during July and August. Dairy Farmers of Ontario fosters a healthy work-life balance and family-first focus.<\/p>\n

This exciting, highly interactive position has the following requirements and qualifications:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience working with groups of school-age children in a leadership role
\n\u00b7 Demonstrated effective group management skills
\n\u00b7 Enjoyment working with elementary school children
\n\u00b7 Knowledge of the dairy industry
\n\u00b7 Access to a vehicle
\n\u00b7 OCT Certification would be considered an asset
\n\u00b7 Bilingualism (English\/French) would be considered an asset <\/p>\n
