DFO collects, uses,\n          discloses and retains this information in order to regulate the\n          production and marketing of milk in accordance with its regulations,\n          policies, orders, directions and decisions. DFO may collect such\n          information directly from producers or from others involved in the\n          production and marketing of milk. In carrying out these regulatory\n          functions, DFO, as a not-for-profit body representing the interests of\n          producers of milk, is not in its own right engaged in commercial\n          activity. Information arising from DFO\u2019s exercise of these\n          regulatory authorities is not believed to be subject to the PIPEDA. In\n          those limited circumstances where DFO is engaged in commercial\n          activity, it is subject to the PIPEDA and all of that Act\u2019s\n          provisions apply with respect to personal information collected, used,\n          disclosed or retained as part of that commercial activity.\n        <\/p>\n\n        <p class=\"description-of-terms-and-conditions\">\n          <span class=\"table-view\"><span class=\"first-of-list-tas should-be-left\">1. <\/span>\n            <span class=\"should-be-right\">The content of the pages of this Site is for your general\n              information and use only.
